Boathouse

The Boathouse at 2808 Lafayette Avenue is a unique satellite office space designed for the partners of Trousdale Ventures. Embracing its proximity to the ocean, the space encourages active participation in water sports and features an aesthetic that pays homage to Newport's historic surf culture and coastal lifestyle born out of the 1960s, while maintaining a modern design. The project scope encompasses the complete design and specification for a studio apartment, private offices, co-working and communal lounge spaces, and a veranda. The design emphasizes custom features like graphic storytelling, curated art, and the incorporation of custom activations to ensure authenticity to its Newport roots.
